• Mediation can be a rapid process and Mediation proceedings are not unknown to come to conclusion within a day.
• The Process is flexible and Parties can reach an agreement personal to themselves rather than having a decision imposed upon them by a Court that could satisfy neither party.
• The process is voluntary. At any stage before an agreement is reached a party may withdraw should they wish and proceed to Court .Once an agreement at the end of a mediation is reached it can be drawn up into an enforceable agreement between the Parties.
• The discussions between parties are entirely confidential and if an agreement is not be reached what has been said neither binds a party nor prejudices any other options or resolution open to them.
• Mediation can be enormously cheaper than proceeding to Trial.
