Rates and fees to be charged will vary in accordance with the complexity and scale of the case to be considered.
The Typical highest daily rate for an extremely complicated commercial or international arbitration will be in the region of £4000 plus VAT, Disbursements and expenses or £400 per hour.
The typical daily rate for a major arbitration will be in the region of £3000 plus VAT, disbursements and expenses or £300 per hour.
For a standard arbitration the typical daily rate will be in the region of £2000 plus VAT, Disbursements and expenses or £200 per hour.
In the event of a Counterclaim an additional fee equivalent to 50% of the typical daily rate will be levied.
All Arbitrations are booked as full days with a minimum charge of 4 hours plus reading time.
Paper Arbitrations
We recognise that the Parties to arbitration may wish to avoid the potential inconvenience, stress and expense of an oral hearing.
We also offer a “Document Only” Arbitration facility where disputes are determined on the basis of paper work and written submissions placed before the Arbitrator under the rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
This facility is available for both domestic and international disputes and is intended to be a much speedier and less expensive form of arbitration.
The service is provided under a fixed fee scheme and has proved extremely popular.
